The lovely Bug of Crossing Jordon
Hey, I’m not talking about any insects, but about a wonderful actor on Crossing Jordon series.
Any guesses??? It’s brilliant Forensic entomologist of Crossing Jordon, a very intelligent as well as a shy character. I’ve watched all episodes from series and must say that this man performed very well.
On Crossing Jordon, he is shown as very shy, wise and adorable guy. He loves Lily but continuously hides his feelings from her. Lily is a grief counselor working in the medical examiner’s office. As she is a good-hearted lady, so Bug is so impressed from her. She has had a brief relationship with Garret, but later on, she breaks up with him after realizing her feelings for Bug. However, initially her intentions were to ignore Bug and to make him realize that he shouldn’t fall in love with her.
But finally, dear Bug gets his love. He is so generous and when comes to know that Lily is pregnant from Jeffery, he accepts her along with her baby, and is ready to take the responsibility of that illegitimate child. See Love is blind and faithful as well.
Do you know one funny thing about Bug? His full name is Mahesh “Bug” Vijaya Raghaven Satyanaryana Murthy aka Mahesh Vijay. I don’t know how he was named as Bug in this show, may be for the sake of style. Cool name Bugs. Did he take it from Bugs Bunny? Hey just kidding.
I must say Ravi Kapoor; playing Bug is an amazing actor. He is an Indian habitant, but was born in Liverpool, England. He has also played Earl’s doctor in ‘My name is Earl‘.
In the finale of Crossing Jordon, he suddenly disappears, and later on it is discovered that he was arrested by Department of Homeland Security as a suspected terrorist and is shaken by the experience. He’s also playing the similar role in Numbers. Definitely, as impressive actor he is.
