A killer, Emmett Parker, is about to be released from prison. Woody, Dr. Macy and Jordan don’t want this to happen and rush to get new evidence. Meanwhile, Lilly’s mother is killed in a hit and run accident. Also, Jordan has to decide to what extent she would be willing to involve herself in the case. There is one interesting line by Rene Walcott where he says that he would be willing to make a deal with Mussolini to keep Emmett Parker inside.
