Crossing Jordan is a detective drama which takes the viewers into Boston Medical Examiners’ Office. The show moves around a brilliant Boston based medical examiner, Dr. Jordan Cavanaugh who is a fearless, sexy and a smart doctor.
Forensic Pathologist Dr. Jordan lost her job with the Boston Medical examiners’ office because of her craze for solving homicides. After some years, an ally prevents Jordon and rehires her to her previous job. Jordan’s behavior has not been changed but management tolerates her because she is good at her job.
Jordan along with her father Max, who is former Boston Police Detective and is plagued by the memories of his murdered wife, often solves comes.
Dr. Garret Macy is Chief Medical Examiner and her job is to keep Dr. Cavanaugh in check. Her relationship with detective Woody Hoyt is also under consideration. Along with Medical examiners and detectives, there were some other important roles as such Counselor Lily, criminologist Nigel Townsend and forensic entomologist Bug.
