Miguel Ferrer, an American actor, is also known as Miguel Jose Ferrer. He was born to Award-winner José Ferrer and American singer Rosemary Clooney and has four siblings. His siblings are named Maria, Gabriel, Monsita and Rafael. George Clooney, an actor, is his cousin. He spent his early years in Hollywood and developed an interest for Music. On Keith Moon’s ‘Two Sides of the Moon’, Miguel Ferrer played drums.

He made his acting debut in 1980s by appearing as a guest character on episodic television. In the 1983 movie ‘The Man Who Wasn’t There’, he portrayed the character of a waiter. In 9184, he made an appearance on ‘Star Trek III: The Search for Spock’ portraying the character of Excelsior helm officer. In the 1987 action movie ‘RoboCop’, Miguel Ferrer was seen portraying cocaine-snorting corporate executive Bob Morton. In 1988’s ‘Valentino Return’, he was seen as a sinister biker; in 1989’s DeepStar Six, he portrayed a scientist; on 1993’s ‘Hot Shots! Part Deux’, he was seen as Commander Arvid Harbinger; in 1994, he portrayed Lloyd Henreid in the Stephen King mini series The Stand; in 1997, he was seen as investigative reporter Richard Dees on ‘The Night Flier’ and portrayed Eduardo Ruiz in Traffic in 2000.

During 1989-1991, he portrayed D.A. Todd Spurrier on ‘Shannon’s Deal’. In 1991, Miguel Ferrer joined Broken Badges portraying Cajun cop Beau Jack Bowman. On the ‘Twin Peaks’, he appeared as wittily abrasive FBI forensics specialist Albert Rosenfield. In 1992, he reprised the same role on the movie ‘Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me’. In the television crime/drama series ‘Crossing Jordan’, Miguel Ferrer portrays Dr. Garret Macy. In the video game Halo 2, he gave his voice to Heretic leader and in the video game ‘BioShock’, he voiced the protagonist Jack. In 1999, he received a nomination for Best Spoken Word Album for Children. He made his stage debut in the off Broadway production of ‘The Exonerated’. In the 1997 ‘Justice League of America’, Miguel Ferrer portrayed the part of a super-villain The Weatherman on ‘Justice League of America’. On ‘Superman: The Animated Series’, he gave his voice to Weather Wizard. He then voiced Aquaman on ‘Superman: Animated’. Among his other voice-overs are Robot Chicken and American Dad!.


Miguel Ferrer also worked on several comic book series including Comet Man and The Dreamweaver and Trypto the Acid Dog etc. On ‘Bionic Woman’, Miguel Ferrer was seen portraying Jonas Bledsoe.

Miguel Ferrer likes golf and ski. He was married to Leilani Sarelle, an actress and the couple has two sons, Lukas and Rafael. Miguel also shares a son, Jose Robert with Kate Dornan. He then married Lori Weintraub in 2005.

Miguel Ferrer appears as Dr. Garret Marcy on ‘Crossing Jordan’. He’s the Chief Medical Examiner and is Jordan’s boss. On series, he’s seen dealing with Jordan’s erratic behavior; his family and with his not-so-good habits.
