What you say about that? Well, I don’t think so.

A lot of rumors were about season 7 during the season 6’s ending days. People were saying that NBC is re-thinking whether to bring it back or not… but everything was just meaningless and season 6 finale ‘Crash’ served as series finale. Finally, Crossing Jordan is over.

On Crash, the team is isolated in mountains as their plain crashes. Dave, with a leg injury tells everyone to get prepared mentally for this crash. Pilot is dead and every one is having wounds. Oh! No chances of survival.

Episode follows them how they managed their rescue and how long it took to be rescued. My best picks from the series finale:-

Jordan: You really are a boy scout aren’t you?
Woody: Troop 1126.
(Jordan and Woody hug tightly)
Jordan: If you die out there I’ll kill you.

Woody: Nigel, your arm.
(Nigel looks down at his arm and the bone is sticking out.)
Nigel: (shouting) OUCH!

Bug: (pointing at Madelyn) She’s smiling…look, look, look, look, look, look.
Nigel: Are you sure that’s not gas?

Crossing Jordan- why the series was cancelled?

Exactly, after one month, on May 16, 2007, we all CJ fans will complete one year without our fave TV series Crossing Jordan. The day was really a black day for the fans as on that day, after 6 seasons, the series was unexpectedly cancelled by the Network. Why it happens with good shows only.

Crossing Jordan was debuted on September 1, 2001 on NBC network. I think the concept of the show was very well written and the show was one of the best TV series. The title of the show ‘Crossing Jordan’ implies the leading character’s name.

Why the series was cancelled? Bad Ratings may be the reason. Will they pick up the series once again or not? Chances are very less. Well, we can just pray to bring the series back as Hope sustains life. However, if you missed any of the Crossing Jordan episodes, then click to watch online.

Crossing Jordan has been cancelled but we still remember its great story arc and outstanding performance of various characters on series.

When Crossing Jordan was declared for cancellation, I was completely disappointed and thought why it happens with great show like crossing Jordan? I don’t know….. Sorry. Okay, leave it.

Today, this post is just to convey heartiest congratulations to Ivan Sergei as his B’day is coming. Ivan was playing Dr. Peter Winslow on series. Ivan everyone is missing you man!!! and the whole star cast of Crossing Jordan.

Ivan Sergei was born in Hawthorne and begun his career in NY with acting in off-Broadway productions. His first role was as Huero in the 1995 hit movie Dangerous Minds. He has appeared on several shows including Jack & Jill, Charmed and Crossing Jordan etc. Writing and photography are his hobbies and there a special dark room in his house. I love Crossing Jordan when it was on and the cancellation of the series really disturbed me a lot. But now, as we guys are going to complete 1 year without the series (however, I watched online crossing Jordan episodes during this time), I decided to find out the best reason why I liked the series too much and following is one of the several reasons :

Happy Birthday! Lorraine. April 4 will be a very very special day for fans of Lorraine Toussaint as this is the b’day of their fave Lorraine Toussaint. Lorraine Toussaint was playing Elaine Duchamps on NBC hit Crossing Jordan ( Download it now ).

Lorraine Toussaint, gained interest in acting when she was asked by someone- “What she wants to do with her life”. Her first paying job was as Lady Macbeth with “Shakespeare & Company”. On the critically acclaimed cable drama “Any Day Now”, she starred for four seasons.

Lorraine is also nominated for 4 NAACP Image Awards for best actress in Drama series; a TV guide nomination for Best Actress in a Drama Series and she has won the Wiley A. Branton Award from the National Bar Association. She is a part of the movie “The Joyce Ann Brown Story” which is under development. Currently, she’s in Los Angels. Her habits include traveling, cooking etc.

Crossing Jordan, a detective drama, brought the Boston Medical Examiners’ Office. The show moved around a brilliant Boston based medical examiner, Dr. Jordan Cavanaugh who is a fearless, sexy and a smart doctor.

Forensic Pathologist Dr. Jordan lost her job with the Boston Medical examiners’ office because of her craze for solving homicides. After some years, an ally prevents Jordon and rehires her to her previous job. Jordan’s behavior has not been changed but management tolerates her because she is good at her job. Jordan along with her father Max, who is former Boston Police Detective and is plagued by the memories of his murdered wife, often solves crimes.

Dr. Garret Macy is Chief Medical Examiner and her job is to keep Dr. Cavanaugh in check. Her relationship with detective Woody Hoyt is also under consideration. Along with Medical examiners and detectives, there were some other roles like Counselor Lily, criminologist Nigel Townsend and forensic entomologist Bug.
